Travis Lee Stephenson was born and raised in Houston, TX and was inspired by his father to pick up the guitar. His early influences were classic rock and 90’s grunge, but as time passed he expanded his musical horizons into blues, country, soul, progressive rock, fusion jazz, slide, pop and finger-style acoustic. While in Houston, Travis wrote and recorded with several original projects (Standing Souls and The Delta Flyers) who played locally and toured the South. He became a versatile and sought after session player contributing to many projects in an array of musical styles. Travis is a two-time regional winner of the International Blues Challenge with The Delta Flyers (2008 and 2009). In 2010 he moved to Hollywood, CA to attend the Musician’s Institute where he was awarded the D’Addario scholarship for stylistically diverse guitarists. While at M.I. he started his current rock project Electric Soul Parade. In 2011 Travis graduated M.I. with honors and Electric Soul Parade was chosen to perform at the graduation ceremony held at The Wiltern Theater. He currently lives in Los Angeles where he writes, records, and performs with Electric Soul Parade as well as a number of other artists.
